Traveling AOA

The first trip for AOA (Active Older Adults) was a huge success! Twenty men and women gathered to caravan to Louisville to visit Cave Hill Cemetery & Arboretum

Cave Hill Cemetery is more than a sacred resting place. It is an integral part of the legacy of Louisville. There are 296 acres, 16 miles of roads and is listed on theNational Register of Historic Places. Cave Hill National Cemetery contains graves of civil war soldiers both Union & Confederate-including soldiers of the 32nd Indiana Regiment, many famous people, hundreds of flora & trees and Victorian architecture. Check out these pics of the morning spent in this beautiful place. You can see these on Facebook as well.
